Accommodations

Medfield is a 40-minute drive from Boston (we took our engagement photos in South Boston), though there are smaller towns with hotels much closer to Medfield that you can choose to stay in (see below).

Our wedding falls on the same weekend as many graduations for Boston’s numerous universities and colleges, so we have blocked rooms in Boston at a reasonable rate for of our out-of-town guests.

Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel: Book your hotel room before May 9 at this waterfront South Boston hotel through the website or phone number on this page and receive a locked-in rate. The group rate extends from the nights of May 30-June 2.  The hotel is an easy, 10-minute cab or subway ride from the airport (see Airport info), and if you take wedding-provided transportation to and from this hotel to the wedding, you may not need to rent a car at all.  (The bus will depart this hotel for the wedding at 4 p.m. June 1 and take people back to Boston in staggered time intervals at the end of the night.) In addition, at or near this hotel, Jeff and Amber plan to have a drink with guests Friday evening before their wedding and a possible brunch Sunday after the wedding.

To book your room and receive the locked-in rate, visit the designated Parcher/Phillips wedding Room Block website or call the room block hotline at 617.338.4111 or toll free at 877.513.6305.

Residence Inn Norwood Hotel: This hotel is located in Norwood, a suburb of Boston that is about a 15-minute drive from Medfield and a 25-minute drive from Boston. You will need to rent a car to stay here. There is no room block, but rates should be reasonable, it’s located directly off the highway.

Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask Jeff or Amber.
